Dr. Barry Bass is a graduate of Queens College and Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He served his internship, residency and chief residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Queens Hospital Center. Dr. Bass has a Masters Degree in Bio-Chemistry from New York University.
Dr. Bass has done research in the following areas: Sickle Cell Anemia, Hepatitis, and effect of smoking on Lungs and DNA tumor viruses. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Bass is on staff at the University Hospital at Stony Brook and several North Shore University Hospital campuses. Dr. Bass is currently the Co-Chief of the TMJ/Facial Pain Clinic at North Shore University Hospital and is Surgical Director of the Implantology Training Program there as well.
