Dr. James Dolin is a graduate of Emory University and Columbia School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He served his internship, residency and chief residency at the Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Medical Center. Dr. Dolin has done research in the following areas: maxillofacial penetrating trauma, detection of maxillofacial osteomyelitis using new techniques in nuclear medicine, salivary gland diseases, CO2 laser in oral surgery (for which he has received several awards). Dr. Dolin is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a voluntary attending oral surgeon at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Dolin is an instructor in CPR for the American Heart Association and he gives numerous courses in Basic Life Support / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). He is very active in the Nassau County Dental Society. He currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors.
